Our complete hose reel range consists of 3 main types of reel

 

Spring retractable hose reels

Reelcare supply a broad range of auto rewind hose reels. This type of reel uses a drive spring that is put under tension when the hose is pulled out. A latch mechanism is used to lock of the reel while work takes place.  When required a short tug on the hose releases the latch mechanism and the hose is returned to the reel. Because of the tension required to retrieve the hose there is a limit to the amount of hose spring retractable reels can hold. This type of hose reels is suitable for ceiling and wall mounting.

 

Manual rewind hose reels

Hose is wound onto the drum by two types of mechanism. Direct crank hose reels are operated by a crank fitted directly to the shaft. This provides one turn of the drum to each turn of the handle. Bevel rewind hose reels are fitted with a gear drive and ease the load for the hose reel operator. This rewind process, for example could take three turns of the handle to produce one turn of the drum meaning longer lengths of hose can be rewound.

 

Motor driven hose reels

Our motor rewind hose reels can be fitted with either electric, air or hydraulic motors. Motor driven hose reels can be used for much longer lengths of hose that would be unmanageable with manual rewind hose reels.

 

Custom built hose reels

In addition to our standard hose reel products we are also able to design and manufacture bespoke hose reels to meet our customers’ specific needs.

 

Hose reel finishes

Our standard range of hose reels are available in a high quality powder coated steel or stainless steel. For specialist applications we can supply a galvanised finish or an aluminium build.
